I feel like people are being overly harsh with the manga. Is it bad? I mean kinda, but I've read worse. I also went into this with high expectations but after the first few chapters I already know it's not gonna be as good as I had hoped. Maybe that's why I was able to get through it? So for the people who want to read this manga despite the warnings by other commenters, lower you expectations lol..
I saw that I gave this a 3/5 star but I don't remember reading it since it was a long time ago. But I got curious because the premise of the story seems to be right up my alley. So I re-read it and well... I should've trusted my own judgement..
I read the comments and people are saying this is like a disaster of a wattpad story and yeah. The story is kinda trash tbh and the seme is toxic as fuck. But at the same time I can't stop reading it. It's like a car crash on the side of the road you can't help but look at. I need to see what happens next..
They did not just twinkified my beefcake of a man. And not only that, he basically got nerfed with a weak body. This is a crime against humanity lol!
I wish there are more BLs with middle-age men, but for some reason Japanese are not that into older males with facial hairs. Maybe because BL authors tend to be females? Also I was worried that the MC was gonna get rid of his facial hair, I'm so happy that he kept it throughout the story.
People are talking about the ML's chin or him being a red flag but honestly, he's not that bad since he gets better in later chapters, both his chin and his personality. The MC is pretty meh, he's basically the typical manhwa uke that's not good at anything other than being the ML's love interest. Story is pretty dumb and the lack of communication between the two leads can get frustrating. But overall it's pretty ok, maybe like a solid 3.5/5 stars..

This has the perfect vibe of isekai I'm into. I'm really enjoying the characters and humor. At first I thought this was gonna be BL but based on some of the comments it's not. While I do wish it's BL, I'm also fine with them just being friends..
My god it's frustrating watching him running around in circles. Dude basically got everything handed to him on a silver platter but still fails to take initiative for anything. He got the system menus telling him what he should do, got the guide book, a random fortune teller dropping him hints, doesn't need to worry about money since he's a noble, have two princes that would basically do anything for him, got a court mage as a teacher, etc. And all he's worried about is that he needs to avoid a romance route because, for whatever reason, he thinks this world isn't real and their feelings don't matter. Not to mention how stupid it is for him to reduce his pain index to zero..
well i mean i get why hes trying to avoid the romance route.. like one of the endings is him being locked up and imprisoned just because ilya loves him, i would try my best to stop that too. and as for the pain index, jerrys basically known for fainting and always being hurt so it makes sense for him to turn it down very low when hes always in unbearable pain
I'm glad the MC is becoming more active with his role. The husband also seems to become more assertive on what he wants. The lack of communication between them and the husband trying to avoid him was driving me crazy. Maybe now we'll see their relationship develop further than just small talk and blushing at every word..
