I've re-read the novel plenty of times and now reading this manhua blended everything so well. The storyline is so beautiful, the characters are charming and the setting is mesmerizing. My heart ached for the beautiful departed souls, for those unfulfilled love.. and I celebrated for the lovers that crossed boundries beyond man just to be together, for the second chance to live a good life.
Wish we could see more of the other world but some lives are better left unspoken, undisturbed..

The plot itself is cracked and frustrating especially the MC and ML with the former being dumb and the latter being pushy. MC couldn't grow a single backbone and ML was very crude. MC is alive and thriving solely because of plot armour. ML is manipulative and I understand that being a king, he has to act in a certain way but it's a no for me! They suit eachother though, so everything worked out fine at the end. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
