    I'm sure that Grey is Aruse but lied about lying about being Aruse. There were too many hints towards it: knowing the inspector wouldn't sleep with Aruse (therefore knowing that confronting him directly with his feelings wouldn't work), hating to be in debt to anyone, thief, etc
