I hate the ml. I get you have sometimes semi-toxic relationships between characters but there's zero chemistry here. He just messes around with her, and she gets thrown around like a ragdoll. She's at least not completely powerless but seeing him get in her head makes no sense to me seeing he has zero appeal
ngl if I were her I would be pissed off how this guy speaks about her seemingly having attemped suicide, like maybee the emperor should pay some attention to this harem of women you collected for god knows how long and pick one, then we won't have these power struggels and screams for attention - him assuming she did it for attention and disregarding her is just frustrating af to see he should get off his high horse, esp that stupid endless monologue in her room at the start ending with 'yeah no doctors or medicine for her just leave her' like it's all her fault
