In the novel, Soohyun cried because his past memories overlapped with his current memories. When he saw his Dad leave him in the fitting room, he remembered how his Dad abandoned everything after his divorce with his Mom, that he "gave up" on him (Soohyun's words not mine), that he left him alone with his Mom's family who bullied him for not having a family. It was such a memorable scene because Soohyun himself said that it seems like he is mourning the loss of his family from his old life now because he wasn't able to mourn it before.

That actually makes more sense! That reason makes it more sense that he will cry rather than what we see. I think the novel did it better then, while manhwa did it in a funny way. Still not bad, but the novel has a deeper meaning, which would've added more depth to his character and showed that it's not easy getting over your traumatic past.
I find that it is how generally this story is being handled, which is fine! I love the flow of the manhwa. I guess I'm just sad because there are a few scenes they skipped in favor of being light-hearted, and I have been so looking forward to seeing this scene from the novel huhu
But maybe they will tackle this part next chapter, I dunno. I can only hope.

I will have to read it back, the thing about the manhwa is that it doesn't follow the flow of the novel, there's a lot of jumping around chapters and stuff. If I re-read it again it will have to wait until the weekend as I have work huhu
