He may have dated girls before he met Nemu but Maya is most likely bisexual. Alot of bisexual people will start off dating the opposite sex and then discover later on they swing both ways. There are also a lot of bisexual people who start off thinking they're gay/lesbian but then discover they're also attracted to the opposite sex.

Ok maybe not bisexual but he's definitely not straight. He could be pansexual, demisexual, or sapiosexual. He could even be someone who can have sex with women but can only be queer romantic with men but not necessarily sexually attracted to men. He certainly seem to have more meaningful relationships with men than he does with women. Of course this is a BL so that theory is hard to prove.

I, myself, have recently discovered that I can be sexually and romantically involved with men. I am not sexually attracted to women but I can be queer romantic with them.

but anyway sexuality is a difficult thing ,i dont think everyone needs labels ^^ i also struggle with labeling myslef so..
