This is a short read, and overall very likeable. The relationship between Jeanette and Jeanne is super cute, but the ending made me feel so empty. This manga is one of the best ones I've ever read. I started out with the anime, and immediately fell in love with the characters, plot and everything in-between. Thorfinn's character development is so beautiful. Going from a young boy who's driven by rage and revenge to a man with understanding and compassion for other people. What can I say? After having read the full story, I must say that this is a masterpiece. The story shows elements of historical accuracy, but also yearning, longing and desperation.
