I think Nakano knew he was gay too, but was too much a coward/was not brave enough to admit he was gay. He even used a girl as his beard for a short while. Kotou noticed that Nakano had feelings for the MC long ago and that's why he rushed in when he had a chance.
I do feel bad that Nakano did not try to seize the opportunity and reciprocate the feelings that once were mutual, but being open about or even accepting your sexuality is something that is hard to do when you are struggling. It just took him too long to find the courage and self acceptance.
One of the reasons why I loved this manga was just this realistic portrayal. I hope he finds his happiness.
I am about done with this series. Enough is enough. The constant abuse both sexual and physical is just disgusting and I really don't care if it's an unpopular opinion, but I can share mine same as anyone else. There's just so much I can stomache and it hurts to see this being a constant theme. I am not a snowflake, just someone that's been through both these situations myself and it hurts to see no one helping this poor guy. Reminds me too much of myself and it took too long for me to piece myself together and I consider myself a tough and compassionate person. I just don't need this much toxicology.
Yea me too I love this art and stuff but it the constant abuse is really making me feel so idk but weird imma drop it and wait for it to be completed to see the whole story play out!!

As a person who has been through some shit myself, I say to you, don’t read it. It’s obvious you’re still healing from whatever you went through but no one is making you read it. The author chose this plot, as old and overdone in this story, it is how this story plays out. In the future, just drop stories that trigger. It makes no sense reliving past trauma for the sake of reading any genre of manga. I hope you feel better soon.

I have it too. You gotta be careful with it. I went to a shooting range with a friend to get over one of my anxieties. I was fine with shooting and with him shooting because I was coaching him but not knowing there was someone else at the other end of the range shooting scared the crap out of me when they fired. Every shot fired, I felt. I had to concentrate on my own shooting to try and block it out.
Stick to manga for now. Webtoons from Korea and China are severely violent. There is no way you wouldn’t get triggered. Try Acid Town.
Word of advice maybe don’t read Chinese ones they all have heavy amounts of abuse and r@pe and just all sorts of stuff and it’s horrible
