I thought this was just going to be an angsty story about a closeted gay man and a white guy he discovered on the streets...
We are so back bUT BE WARNED. I saw the raws for this and there are more or less five chapters for season 3 already. There will be some really devastating scenes (which I'm giving a trigger warning for). But don't be alarmed because the two are still very much in love.
I'm really interested in the story of the second couple and I like the angst slow burn one sided aspect of it. I feel like I'll enjoy their story and I'm already liking them as a pair but I still don't like the blonde one lmao he's annoying when it comes to his brother
I've only known this new character for 10 minutes but I already wish for his happiness
I had to take a break from reading this because I was laughing so hard I'm in tears. "it's sub-drop. He was hit by both of our glares." there ain't no way this isn't satire. On the earlier chapters I was already giggling at how much "good boy" was being used but that line about sub-drops... I fell out of my chair I'm telling you. I didn't know what I was expecting out of this but comedy wasn't one of them.
Hope MC also murders that disgusting old piece of shit (who I assume is the principal of the school(?))
The brother is getting on my last nerve. Making a move on someone who's VERY drunk and then crying when said drunk person calls out the name of his lover? Lmao you deserve the pain. Wanna know what he doesn't deserve? The affection of the guy he calls a pushover. The guy is too good for him honestly. If they do (and they will) get together I want to see the bother grovel first.
Adding this to my reading list because I'm actually interested in their relationship. The rest of the warrior anthology is just... not fun to read. I'll just pretend that those other stuff don't exist.
I thought this was slow burn ngl guess I was wrong because there's no pay-off lol the ending was honestly "I love you as a best friend but let's see maybe there could be more."
There's this trend on tiktok where artists would draw the camera scene from the movie liverleaf. Turns out, that movie came from this manga. Since movies cannot hold my attention span I'm just going to read this one.
A part of me wants the main story to go forward but all the characters have such nice stories that I can't help but enjoy each subplot. Honestly, I did not expect Kasakami to have his own little subplot of insecurities but it's sooo refreshing. At first I thought he was just going to be one of those cool laid-back characters but seeing how he tries his best and how not everything goes his way makes him feel so real. I don't understand how the mangaka understands the teenager struggle so well but they do and it's so nice and refreshing because a lot of stuff in fiction exaggerates and glorifies the teenage life. I'm not a teenager anymore and I'm about to graduate college but I do get reminded of my high school days because of this manga.
Literally everything went down the drain. At this point I only care about the happiness of the brothers. Leave all of them behind and live a happy life
Haruki is kind of like a terrible mean girl version of that one supporting character in skip to loafer.
