i didnt know people hated kanoko i honestly feel like shes he realest and best character in this manga... i really relate to her and like her a lot its just kind of crazy how everyone is acting like shes a horrible person
she's really selfish and ignorant and that what makes her complex. I'm honestly more invested in sumika x kanoka rather than the other couple (no hate, i love them) bec I'm seeing a major character development on kanoko's end (in the future, hopefully)
If no chara dev, then angst it is. The beauty of unrequited love was portrayed really good on Sumika's end (best chara on this manga)
every single character in this manga us selfish and ignorant but its in different ways so i don't understand why she gets all the hate... she's developing in her own way because she views herself so little that it takes more than people saying that they love her... idk im just a huge fan and even if she is unlikeable that doesnt mean she has no character development

You can't really blame people hating or disliking her. It's actually the usual and normal reaction people get from the way how her character is portrayed. It's crazier to like her after that part where she thought Sumika likes her and dares to actually broke up with her, which is actually a little over to her head, don't you think? How is that likeable lol. Making a certain person your assurance if all shit goes down the drain. It's not also that she's selfish. She's also a coward (well up to the part where she cant still confess)..and well, that's basically the reasons why she receives all the hate. If you can relate to her characteristics such as the one I've mentioned,maybe also in need of a character development?
And well ofc, a Kanoko character development will be a redeeming quality of her.
The author can also include geidou and saionji. (⌒▽⌒)
dont make any assumptions about my own character . i relate to her being scared of someone leaving her and being alone. there is something so human about her not being able to control her emotion and desires unlike the first couple she actually felt real to me
