Yeah, I hope they’re okay. I wonder if there was contract signed for the whole adaptation and that’s why the artist didn’t change though. I keep seeing this. The artist gets sick and the adaptation is on hiatus for years. It’s not like I want the artist to change, but the logical choice would be to choose another artist for some time, but it never happens and most of the time the adaptation doesn’t continue even if it’s popular.

Yes, he is bad for some time, pretty violent ( the situation with the paparazzi at the beginning, he later explains it the side stories), there is a reason why he is labled as crazy.
Most people liked that story and the ml better than KML and Keith after finishing the novel. And saying it was better, doesn't turn Chase into a saint. That guy has some serious issues, and there are some reasons why he is like this. He also uses suppressants etc. It was mentioned in KML side stories, when Keith wants to get some for himself. I get the impression that the extreme alphas are all unhinged one way or the other in the author's stories... . But the dynamics of mc and ml are totally different than in KML, and also when they get together it's IMO much better than Keith and Yeonwoo. Because Josh is a very strong omega and Chase really loves and respect his partner.

Josh can handle him, he'll fight back when necessary. Spoiler

But Josh and Chase are pretty evenly matched. Josh actually has more muscle mass than Chase ( he is not as strong as Grayson for example), but Chase is still very stong. Chase is actually younger than Josh, by the way.^^

But later on/ in the end Chase really becomes a good match for Josh. It just takes some time and you had get through some shit. There is also some stuff you need to know to get an idea whats going on with crazy Chase. As I mentioned in another post, most who finished the novel have a more positive view of Chase than of other alphas in the author's stories.

It is widely known that Chase is labled as crazy. And normaly Josh and the bodyguard team are not really fit to guard him, because of his pheromoes. Saw the list of rules they got? Those rules are no joke, as weird as some sound. And, yes i know that guy has some serious problem. There also the actor who provokes him. what he does there... .

With Josh can handle him I meant that Josh is able to fight back. Most of the time he doesn't is because they don't want lose their client. They are more evenly matched in that aspect than Keith/Yeonwoo.

It has nothing to with him beeing hot and an actor. He is an extreme alpha from a rich, influental family.

I read the novel directly after I read KLM a few years ago, and the main story of the novel was complete which gave the the advantage to not have to deal with forced breaks.
I had the shit Keith did pretty fresh in my mind and what the author is capable of writing. So when I started reading KMIYC I wasn't that shocked reading the crazy violent things Chase did (wait, what he did to the actor who provoked him took me by surprise), since i already got the impression that extreme alphas have some serious issues. They already said that he is crazy at the begining of the novel. And there are actually so many rules for the bodyguard how to act around him.

Most of the crazy violent reactions from him you see are provoked one way or another, that doesn't mean trying to kill someone is ok, because he sometimes really acts in an extreme way. But for Josh and his collegues it's their job to guard that crazy person, so they have to be cautius. And he really needs bodyguards, that guy even has a chip to track him implanted under his skin... .
But at least you later find out some of the things what lead to Chase beeing this messed up. And by the way, he sees a doctor and is heavily on meds, which also causes side effects.
Chase for me in the end, is someone who doesn't really fit into what extreme alphas are supposed to be in this universe (which causes the problems he has.) That he would have been much better off being born a beta in a family like Joshs. The way he is in the end with Josh, I like him better than Keith as a partner for the MC.
I don't see him as a "saint", just as less trashy.

Yeah I still think he should be locked up in an institution. He is a threat to the people around him, and tbh even if he gets better in the future, he could still snap and murder somebody. His bodyguards pretty much act as his nannies. Also tbh Keith seemed more sane to me. He was a rapist, but at least he wasn’t as violent. It’s like the author traded in rape for bat shit crazy.

The only situation where I can see him snap is when someone killed Josh. If you read what these two are like at the end , if you wouldn't know that Chase is the alpha and Josh the omega, you would probably think it's the other way round.XD
And make no mistake, Josh might be sane, but he is able to kill someone no problem if necessary. And he will resort to violence if he is really pissed. In the raws you saw he only holds back, because Chase is their client. Next chapter (9), latest chapter 10 that fight I mentioned before will take place.
