okay but i could talk about this manga forever. is it good representation? no. is it better than any of the other terribly toxic BLs out there? no! but it’s such a strange twist of toxic you don’t see often in BL that i think is so interesting. You often see in BLs the main characters having trouble expressing their emotions and feelings but it’s the exact opposite here, here everything is out in the open. Granted there were some points were they struggled with communication for a bit, but it was only temporary. They’ve both (Amane still getting there currently) gotten very good with communicating it’s insane. And they both have clear goals and wants in life. But you look at it from far away and you see it as some wholesome and loving relationship where they can’t get enough of each other but the closer you get, the more you realize how terrible they are for each other. Low key hope this ends in tragedy though i know it very likely won’t, just because i want to see the extremes they’ll actually go to for each other.
y’all saying wolf boy…. be so fr i don’t think he’s even got a chance in the running lmao
Wolf Boy's tribe is probably the descendant or something related to the goddess, moon and silver hair is just too much of a coincidence. her lover being a king and depicted as blond are red herring. The king in the tales represents out MC, both have some sort of feeling "isolated" from the world. The crystal born out of the tears of goddess is the progenitor or the mana in the world, and the reason why Maythan neutralizes the mana is because symbolically the mana/crystals represent the sadness of the goddess, so Maythan, as the "king" depicted in the book, was the only one who can "quell" her sadness, thus "neutralizing" it, it all comes full circle when Cedric was on the verge of breaking down and perhaps transforming but Maythan's power calmed him down.
Girl…. I think you just spoiled everything without even knowing because this theory can’t be any more real.. HAHAHAHAHA
