i was thinking the same!! but the weird part is if you reread the story the uncle is depicted differently, just last chapter when we see the uncle hug little A as a kid he looks like the guy on the bus for the first two panels, but then changes to how little A has been remembering him as… he suddenly has a full mustache+beard and a hat, i found that so odd
also in ch3 when fluffy is thinking of uncle he looks different from little A’s memory, the beard looks the same as the guy on the bus

yeah, i thinkkkk the story is hinting that little A’s memories of the farm weren’t as happy and wonderful as he remembers, he might think uncle was this big buff guy with a hat and a beard that was always smiling when he was actually not, or how the farm was this fun innocent place when in reality it might’ve not.. hmmmmmm guess we’ll see (and you’re not slow at all btw!!)
