You can not explain how satisfying it is to see the mc realize what they did wrong and the reality of the situation. I've read alot of manhwa/manga/manhua that let they mc scott free and not realize the burden of their situation.

The amount of people complaining how boring or how forced the drama is unbelievable. We're looking at the story through the twins' perspective, if you actually put your attention on the story rather than skimming through like this was a booklet, then you would understand. The twins don't trust anyone else with exception of Riolu. They have a little bit of faith in the second prince because he actually knows how to communicate with them.
Now you're gonna say "the twins need to be more mature meh meh" again. They DIED AT 18. BARELY ADULT. Imagine putting yourself in the twins' scenario, you would never trust anyone, not even yourself. The twins' don't know how much their brothers and father care about them like we do because we get to SEE what the hell is going on because we're reading the story.
They shift perspective so that we know what they're doing, what are they talkin about, and why they do it. So while the main casts is interacting, the antagonist is plotting. While we are aware of what's going on, the characters don't. This isn't Gwenpool where the MC can break out of character and leap through the panels.
This isn't a transmigration manhwa where their is a system that helps the MCs. WAKE UP.
The twins died when they were 18, mind you not every fcking 18 year old is mature enough to handle the real world. You're mad because the twins don't have a strong mental state? If you haven't looked back at that some isekai manhwas that focus on the antagonists or the neglected side characters that die, most of the protagonists. were. mostly. aduLTS. They know what to do because they're already have a sense of what to do and how to do it. And yes, adults can have weak mental states as well.
The moment they were born in that world, they experienced abuse and parental neglect making them unable to trust others besides themselves. They trust Riolu because he has similar experiences as a bastard child and they have never met anyone who went through the same shit they did, the same goes for Riolu.
Hell, you can even tell that Riolu was having second thoughts on the plan hence why he saved them. To put it more simply, stop saying the twins are dumb or stupid for not trusting the emperor or any of their brothers and choosing to trust Riolu and the head maid. They have trauma and trauma isn't easily conquered in a snap of a finger. If it was, maybe things could be alot more easier but unfortunately, that's not gonna happen.

And the brain development. They're currently in the body of children and their brains and bodies are still currently developing. Just because they have past memories doesn't mean behavior of young to adolescent children (hormones etc.) wouldn't have an effect on their state of mind.
People are saying that they were adult in the previous life but still they were 28 which is consider children as they were only in their late teens and haven't seen that much of the world and they were only in school living their peaceful life. But in this life they were the victims of abuse since the start so no matter what circumstances made them that way to not trust someone who abandoned them since their birth and left them to their abusive mother and maids. One more thing in most of the other isekai comic people know about the story but this wasn't case here. Other protagonist were known about the situation to survive but this different as it is completely different life to live agai without knowing any future.
Well it’s not that I didn’t pity the situation they were going through but I didn’t understand it.I’ve read an isekai where a teen was put into another world and had no knowledge of the current world story.So I thought maybe they may be able to solve situations themselves.I didn’t factor them living in a child like mental state for a long time.

Yes thank you! Lmao The person who said really annoying things deleted what they said but I was so pissed! Like their mom was so abusive and they had nobody to trust and nobody who could help them. How do people expect them to get over the trauma in a second. I personally have trauma and finally got out of the toxic environment but truthfully my mind is still there its hard as fvck to realize that it's different and that not all people are bad. They also mentioned how they were old but I hate it, becuase trauma can happen to anyone at any age. It takes a long time to heal mental scars.
