It’s obvious Mika is gonna come back Demony or not and the stuff with the sisters makes sense it’s what’s been built up this whole time. I agree that Yuu’s character got really watered down, and in turn Mika and Yuu’s relationship, although when they held hands when they got knocked back by Guren I think I bsbdndnd like bro my boys I just want them to be together and happy I agree with Mika that they should just run away and let the world burn lol. I don’t understand why the origin of the vampires got so many pages, or Guren’s full backstory we don’t super need and a few other things that need trimming. In general there’s a lot of mythos dumping and I’m interested but also it’s a little overwhelming the last like 20 chapters where all this. I like Shiona as a character but the development could’ve been spread out a bit better. Idk I still like it but right now it’s kinda overwhelming with the different characters focusing, be it Krul, Ashamaru, Yuu, Mika, Shiona, Guren, Fried, the first vampire. There’s just a lot but I’m holding out hope.
It’s kinda funny to me that the cross dressing turns the seme off since he’s into men lol, it’s also an interesting thing to point out since a lot of yaoi has the “only gay for you” plot line
I’ve reread this multiple times I just... it’s perfect. The blond teacher annoyed me but I understand his purpose, especially with Tengoku’s revelation that the one he loves is Sensei <3. The writing is good as well and I like how the bdsm elements on Sensei’s part are mixed with his past in a good way, it’s like he’s using it to get over that trauma instead of the trauma being mentioned and never developed. Watching Sensei unwind and then become confident enough to fight for his man is 10/10. Also I usually don’t like the bratty and possessiveness but Tengoku is just such a brat and it’s cute.
I’m dumping my own thoughts onto here for future reflection.
Arte is a very interesting character, she can be kinda annoying but it’s nice that she’s a pretty realistic character even though she has to overcome some strong discrimination. She reminds me of Yona from Yona of the Dawn, another female character that can be annoying but combats stereotypes in a fresh way. I like her a lot and BRO I’m simping for Leo so hard it’s not funny. I don’t want Arte and Leo to get together I hope Arte’s feelings morph into more platonic over time, it’s possible I’ve had crushes that went away. In the story progression I would feel better if it didn’t turn into a love triangle or something ya know. I hope Leo has more of a chance to talk to her, he’s kinda anti social in general so he probably doesn’t exactly know how to have the friendly type conversations you would need in a friendship but also I think that’s what separates them into that mentor-mentee relationship. Leo is a good teacher figure and I hope it doesn’t turn romantic.
I’m glad they worked out their relationship it’s really cute how much they love each other. Also the cat story lowkey made me tear up it was so wholesome.
I really like how they have like a quiet? agreement. Not exactly the right word because they do talk about what they want but both of them just suit each others needs and respect each other and ask questions and stuff. They say it out loud but it seems quiet I guess cause it’s so casual. To sum it up I love their character interaction, especially Iwashiro. I kinda wish there was another chapter to show Seki more interactive and loving, never said “I love you” back bro smh. Anyway it’s a 10/10 for the relationship from me, very refreshing from the loud and angsty relationships.
I was so scared the boss was gonna reject him and I was rooting for the highschooler for a bit lol. But I’m glad it ended up how it did. Very sweet story I’m glad the boss is a good guy.
