Normally I feel the same way as you as usually in these stories the main characters just believe the other one isn't in love with them. In this case, even if she realizes her feelings for him she won't pursue them because she thinks the one he's meant for is the Saintess. The Saintess is someone she feels deeply apologetic towards so there is no way that she would go against her potential future happiness until the misunderstanding is resolved. The misunderstanding being that she and the ML were in love with each other despite repeatedly saying they were like brother and sister.

yeaa i agree! i feel that the FL isnt dense but more like she refuse to accept it. like u said, partly is cause of the saintess but imo its also how she’s brought up.. she is loyal to the ML from her previous life & now she sees herself as a tool to help the ML rise to the throne. & she will do whatever she have to, to make it happen. so i feel that w her upbringing, her past as well as her goal. there is a solid reasoning to how she is refusing to accept the ML.
