The vampire falls into a trap by the long hair one.he lies to him saying he can undo the link in between him and the other vampire so he falls for it then when they meet up he uses his majic to show the boy what was happening and what he sees his him bitting him they made it seem like his cheating. While the other vampire shows up and shows his true face while the boy is watching he's crying cause he so hurt and the other vampire behind him holding him and smiling telling him what do you think there going do next.
I have given up on this why cause Im sure there's more suffering to come it's frustrating and I'm guessing the Lord will misunderstood shit and hurt him AGAIN. Ever since I started this story I've been conflicted with it. HE HAD THE RIGHT TO MOVE ON HE WAS MISSING FOR 5 YEARS. BUT I don't like the way he faced him with the new lover by his side that was way too much and hitting him. AFTER I READ THE NOVEL I FEEL SORRY FOR HIM HE SUFFERED A LOT. WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IS THE MC WOULD HAVE NERVER CAME BACK SHOULD HE HAVE STAYED WAITING? 5 YEARS IS A LONG TIME. Then all of the sudden that person shows up and he's already moved on and thinks there still in a relationship after missing for 5 years.THEY BOTH NEW THE MC JOB WAS DANGEROUS but the mc still went he loves his job that job came with a risk. HOWEVER IF HE STILL LOVES HIS EX HE SHOULD HAVE BROKEN IT UP WITH THE LOVER BUT IS STILL WITH HIM OUT OF GUILT

From my understanding, he isn't in love with Yuki, but he kinda "worship" him and really admire him. I think Hiragi thought the way Yuki and Mafuyu's love is so special, so he often see them from far away and admired it.
DISCLAIMER: this is just my opinion and imterpretation
it’s more like he’s so fixated with his admiration for yuki that he failed to see his love for shizu. hiiragi kind of like glorified(?) yuki and mafu’s relationship and he misunderstood it as his love for yuki because his attention was all on him and how he (yuki) treated mafu. his realization hit with the dreaming thing, that every time he dreams, it’s always shizu who’s there not yuki. idk that’s how i interpreted it.
I guess he just idolized Yuki that much to the point that shizu would assume that its romance.
