The lady uses "we" because during this time, royals would use the term "warewa" which loosely translates to we, but it was only used by royalty/nobility.
If this was japanese, but I think the same applies for other asian cultures, royals use the term "we" but it's not the common "we" but the royal term "we" if that makes sense
I read some comments about this manga and lots of comments regarding the novel.. I actually don't like reading a novel I prepare manga more .I also read they're not goin to continue translating it because some1 post about the novel? Is that right ?..way to ruin it for everybody:(.. very disappointed...
Reposting it on social media was a big no no for the author and the publication company. I think the reposters were honestly really rude and stupid.
