I enjoyed the translators notes more than the story
I guess it was ok by the end but i cant get over how it was in the first half. He realizes that she thinks he only wants her for sex, so instead of reassuring her....he has sex with her? Then he realizes shes a virgin and goes harder??? Then he does the "shes all mine only mine" cliche thing. Like bro shes not an object????? Then hes surprised when she degrades herself. They interacted like 3 times and had sex 5 times. Also he kinda killed a whole bunch of people that didnt deserve it(not the people at the end) maybe its just me but this story was kinda weird. At least the art was pretty ig.

Not really opposing your opinion but just to have a different perspective, he's been in love with her for 5 years and you know people of the harem only exist to serve the king/sultan. So for her she was only doing what was expected so when they had sex the first time it was consensual. Then when he learns she was a virgin he said she's all mine because his father didn't deflower her. Not like an object kind of thing but that he's the only one who would love her and be with her. Hence there are no other women in the harem and just her. She's degrading herself because she was sold by her parents to be part of the harem plus she isn't a noble so she doesn't see herself as an important person. Besides love is spontaneous some people fall in love immediately and others over time so we can really say they only met a few times and their feeling are over five years long just liking from a distance. Now the people he killed like his brothers was so that no one else would try for the throne. It's actually pretty common in most stories about succession and such and it used to happen. Plus his sister betrayed so she kinda deserves it.
Hopefully this helps you understand the story a little bit more (⌒▽⌒)

What the heck??? I was finally starting to like the redhead and i really liked the relationship he had with joonyoung(i didnt like the drunk sex but whatever ig) but then the creator just throws any chance of redemption he had out of the window??? Doyoon did not deserve to be with seunghoon their whole relationship was toxic and they had no chemistry whatsoever. Joonyong deserved better.

Ofc this is going to be on hiatus during my summer break but they deserve a break so I'll just suck it up and be patient. Btw people keep talking about the novel, should I read it? Im a little scared too since there are so many chapters

I am not sure which grade or school year your on but if the webtoon keeps taking hatius on summer breaks than prepare to have it be finished by your second born deliverance.
I would suggest reading the novel as it is soooooooooo goood.
I read 100 chapters every month.
The first time I read it did 240 in one week. But then started taking breaks since its ongoing. but its worth it.

It always makes me sad when the witness lies. Like i know her situation but come on if the teacher doesn't get in trouble hes gonna do it again. And next time there might not be anyone to help you. Plus the person who helped you will get in trouble. I just wish they would think about the other person sometimes.

Yes I totally agree what she's doing right now is totally unacceptable
There won't be anyone near you to help when he goes beyond harassment and rapes you
After that you'd better not cry or regret anything cause you made that decision.
(and because he's in her school I bet he would keep raping her until she graduates)
I dont think i would mind if this had romance. I just hope they will focus on it AFTER the gate has been taken care of. I havent read the novel so I dont know if they will get together but i feel like they'd be a good match.
For some reason though, i feel kinda sad. I kinda want to see a action manga/manhwa/ect that doesn't have romance in it. I rarely see action stories where theres a platonic friendship between a guy and a girl. I would really appreciate it if someone had action recommendations without much romance(i dont care about the gender of the mc)
for real, its quite the let down
