Okay, I've finally read "I'll be here for you", and just... wow. It's been one hell of a ride. I had no idea that the author was suffering so much that they had to stop drawing. I'm sad that they couldn't finish this one properly before retiring, but I'm just glad we got content after "The beast must die". (16.5.2025)

Chapter 21 was disgusting. The "sex" scene was non-consensual and litrrally just rape. Both participants were inexperienced in anal sex, especially Seonwoo (the bottom, blond) who was a virgin. I don't understand why Yujeong (top, black hair), wanted to push himself inside Seonwoo for the first time in a dirty toilet, without any or enough foreplay and condom or taking care of basic hygiene (didn't was his hands before touching the other's bottom and intimate area.). Seonwoo herself says in his mind that it hurts. And then they suddenly end up in a hotel to continue their business. I wouldn't be able to enjoy anal sex anymore if it was forced into it earlier that day. Like wtf?!! "Even if it hurts...I can't stop now"- Yujeong. That's rape.

That's why I was so excited to see how their second attempt would go, and I was scared in chapter 27 that it would be rape again and not sex. I was so glad to be wrong when Yujeong actually stopped when Seonwoo said "wait!". Considering the fact that Yujeong was a hetero and didn't know shit about gay sex, that rimming in chapter 28 caught me positively off guard. It was so sexy like omg????!! But Seonwoo still didn't feel any pleasure after Yujeong put it in. Sigh...

I was so happy when Yujeong realised he's the reason Seonwoo's not feeling good during the deed. "Wouldn't the reason Seonwoo doesn't feel anything during sex...is because I suck at it?" The rest of the story felt rushed, which was understandable considering the author's condition.

Y'all have no idea how angry I was because of chapter 99. I understand this is a shounen ai, but the tags can sometimes be questionable...Things were progressing so good between Hyesung and Taeyang, and since the story had been going on for so long already, I guess I expected to have some sort of a reward (in the form of the side couple's first night together). The overall story is awesome tho.
