The ending is so disappointing like the whole last 20 chapters felt like it made the plot feel stretched out like it could've finished on chapter 178 because he did defeat the monarchs... i PERSONALLY feel like stories like these shouldn't even have romance and i love romance myself but i felt like it would've been better (at least if there were going to add romance) if he developed and got in a relationship w her a while back instead of wasting potential and 20 chapters... like i knew that there was going to be some romance but a whole 20 chapters?! yeah no that's why i stopped reading after chapter 179. I feel like that was the only part that ruined the whole manhwa for me but it's wtv ill still watch the anime cause i want to see it animated. (〜￣△￣)〜

I completely agree! I dropped it around those chapters as well bc I just didn't see any reason to suddenly have romance??? I pushed through but the ending was so...disappointing. It was obvious who MC was going to end up with the romance just had no place in the story and would've been great without it.
Uhhh... It's actually in the novel... The author just simply loves all the characters he created and gave them a 2nd chance is how I see it lol... Still a masterpiece for me... i don't think there could be any better ending to this. Our legendary illustrator and co- author, made a grand piece
