i actually hate what they’re doing with this drama adaptation so much! they completely changed every character, they changed the relationship dynamics between every character and nothing is more annoying than that. like why is heesu all of a sudden chanyoungs dog like he is a his beg and call in the drama but in the story he clearly feels frustrated with their dynamic thus kickstarting his relationship with seungwon!! also they changed seungwon so much, he is kinda confident and playful in the manhwa but in the drama he’s so shy and quiet, almost insecure. i don’t understand why they would change the initial relationship between seungwon and heesu like in the manhwa heesu clearly cares about seungwon and is interested in HIM not just helping him get with jiyu but so far in the manhwa it feels like heesu could not give less of a fuck about him like??? don’t even get me started with the whole jiyu and changyoung angle they pulled out of their asses like who even asked for that?! all in all they’re making the characters way more unlikable than they are. also we’re on episode 5 with no real development between heesu and seungwon which is crazy to me because HESSU DEADASS BEGINS GETTING CURIOUS ABOUT SEUNGWON IN CHAPTER FUCKIMG 10!!??? like actually i don’t think whoever wrote the script read the manhwa cause these changes are so stupid. like why make a second hetero couple and why is chanyoung suddenly a tennis player with toxic parents like im sorry i have to laugh biggest fumble in bl history. and i was so excited for it too
this could’ve been a one shot im so deadass…art is gorgeous but damn this story was cheeks lmao. if the author focused more on sakura’a internal struggle with his sexuality this story could’ve been wayyy better cause like it’s a cute story u know? idk something sweet for the fucking kids but like it was basically a whole lot of nothing and the concept of a cop loather who hates his sexuality who falls in love with a cop is pretty good but this was so ass i’m sorry i’m never this judgemental abt a cute little manga but somehow this manga overstimulated me and bored tf out of me at the same time but the are is cute so i kept going
Yes!!! I was really bummed they didn't explore Sakura being so closed off because of discrimination. Like, what happens now? Is he supposed to feel more secure just cause Haruto? But that doesn't really solve his fear of being found out. It would have been better if it ended on both of them finding a circle that could accept them instead (e.g., Haruto helps him address those fears and realise that his co-workers and some people in the police force are able to accept who he is).

No it was nothing but a sweet story there were some twists can't count as cheating cuz first they weren't dating second you'll understand when you get the top's personality, and yeah it was really nice and lovey dovey at the very last chps
