Lol no, I have never been one for slow burn in the first place and how it's going I rather them has friends more than anything... there relationship is progressing how a normal one should (minus that one night)....
I feel like rogi wasn't a fleshed out character in the original story... like he had his purpose and that was it he was only there the be an antagonist... only towards the end of the story and now in this story is he a true character. Rogi changed a lot I personally as of right now I don't think he would have done the things he did in the other story based off what's happening right now(still doesn't mean I'm excusing it but it truly feels like a different person). Like I know things have to change from their extremely complicated relationship for it being akitora running away and avoiding rogi, from how it is right now in the story.
I feel like this is more planned out and loved than the other story, not only are we getting hella back story but we have the whole present relationship to go back to... I really like all of these characters because they are so complex it's human
