The story right from the beginning and I knew it was going to be good even if I didn't know where it was going BUT THE CHARACTERS THE TWO NERDS IN THE BEGINNING REALLY. You can't do that it makes my fall in love. AND ONE OF THEM WAS A 6 YEAR OLD BOY YOU REAAALLLY CAN'T DO THAT. But they weren't the only good characters it expanded more and you found amazing personalities in a person you never expected. The dude from the shop why back when they got best companion is still one of my favorites. But in so very few interactions you can see so much in someone IN THIS BOOK AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. It's 2 in the morning and I've never been so hyped uppppppp. Like the fairy-esc. lady when he first went to the library not only did she seem like a good person but it also expanded our knowledge of the world by giving explanations and letting them interact. Like most good hearted main characters would beat up anyone in the wrong if it's to a certain extent but THEO MY BABY IS STILL SO INNOCENT AHHHHHHHH I love him so much. When we need quick explanation it never felt out of place and when characters in the story need an explanation it never felt like they we're doing the same thing but with different words. ALSO BAD GUY NO NO THEO HAPPY YES YES. I might have ranted to much but it's soooooooo good and I can't help it.

Cabel. In the the beginning she accidentally confesses to Cabel and not blondie sunshine which from that alone you can tell she's ending and with Cabel. Right now in the story it could be 40/60 Elvin/Cabel. If you only go by the back story that we've read so far and not the beginning.
