Lowkey I think the mangaka just wanted to end the story... I said a good while back that the rogi in this story and the one in Yondaime Ooyamato Tatsuyuki are very different and you can tell that the author regerts making him the antagonist in that story.
Mostly because I don't think they could have changed the relationship in a way that makes rogi do that and the managka ends up throwing it away by saying tora didn't know about it. By the almost ending of jealously it is tora chasing rogi but in Yondaime Ooyamato Tatsuyuki it was rogi chasing him. MAKES NO SINCE! And I think scarlet saw that and just kinda gave up on making it make sense and ended the story.... lowkey I was at first hoping it was going to go by reikas plan but I liked how it ended and I'm happy my old babies are happy.
Asudo's character is a bitch ehehhehe... he is one of the most jealous characters in the story AND HE IS VINDICTIVE. Him getting scared that rogi was going to take his spot was funny what wasn't funny was the shit he did because of it. And he has the least amount of art out of all the characters. EVEN THE OLD BEER BELLY MAN HAS A SOLO ART NOT ASUDO!!! LOLOLOL

Asumi was great I loved everything about her. She was so strong and everyone in the story knew it. Asumi was never to be messed with. Her accepting rogi because she knows this isn't a normal family and can't help but like him because he is so similar to tora. But also getting scared(mostly angry) that rogi would take up more room in tora's heart than her then getting reassured that it is okay and she is needed and loved greatly has the women tora choose himself. But then it all stattering as soon as there was even a hint of her son getting hurt.MOMMA BEAR!!!!!!!! She couldn't not care for rogi not matter how hard she tried I just wished there were more of all three of them.
Over all I loved it, I'm a sucker for story where everyone is an asshole and that's what this all about, definitely was rushed at the end. But considering scarlet wrote themselves into a wall with this one it was perfect
"I feel like rogi wasn't a fleshed out character in the original story... like he had his purpose and that was it he was only there the be an antagonist... only towards the end of the story and now in this story is he a true character. Rogi changed a lot I personally as of right now I don't think he would have done the things he did in the other story based off what's happening right now(still doesn't mean I'm excusing it but it truly feels like a different person). Like I know things have to change from their extremely complicated relationship for it being akitora running away and avoiding rogi, from how it is right now in the story.
I feel like this is more planned out and loved than the other story, not only are we getting hella back story but we have the whole present relationship to go back to... I really like all of these characters because they are so complex it's human"

I follow her and you can tell she started to love rogi and akitora more and more between volumes but yeah, she definitely hit a wall due to the already set future. I still give this work 5/5 stars tho, it's just so good.
