Hm that's interesting this got me thinking about how alot of these stories are heteronormative af. I can suspend my belief in this area because 1) the story is about aliens 2) everyone is male, so the rules don't apply anyway haha.
It's actually really nice to see a story not assign these arbitrary roles, where you're the 'girl' if you're penetrated and therefore the one to get pregnant.
