did we all read the same thing? why are yall getting mad at hajin that poor man is traumatized as fuck and he knows and acknowledges it, he even said he hates himself for it getting in the way of him trusting geonwoo and thats a good first step towards getting over his trauma. trauma isnt easily forgotten especially one like what hajin went through, and triggers can really just come out of nowhere. and he was transparent about not wanting to commit because of his past, maybe he didnt tell the whole story cos that would just be bringing back the pain of the past, but him slowly opening his heart to geonwoo is him trying to get over that trauma. plus, geonwoo’s love isnt fickle so im sure and hoping that theyre gonna communicate about it and get past it in the next chapters so that they can both fully and completely give each other the love they deserve ♡ i love these babies huhu they deserve the wooorld (esp after that steamy sex at the inn )
just because he ran way doesnt mean he’s shutting geonwoo out. give the man some time to process his emotions! kudos to him for not trauma dumping it on the spot cos that wouldve been more inconsiderate for geonwoo. we have yet to see how hajin will deal with this moving forward, so its too soon to be hating on him
i still cant make sense of what mi-ok was saying?? like whats the connection of her being a lonely child in a broken family to mr kwon and ho’s relationship? shouldnt she be happy that mr kwon isnt alone anymore? like sure same sex relationships are hard, but thats none of her damn business. can anyone explain her pov or what her thought process was? cos it feels so random and irrelevant to the story hahaha
From what I understand Mi-ok was projecting. She was projecting her feelings of loneliness onto Kwon an Ho's relationship instead of fixing her own problems. Basically her thought process was:
I'm lonely > Mr. Kwon is pursuing a queer relationship > Queerness is not "normal" in the countryside so he might feel ostracised (Like how not having a close relationship with your parent isnt "normal" in college) > I'll set him up with women and fix his problem (cuz I don't know how to fix my own) and hopefully he won't feel so lonely
It's a very childish way of thinking and it's definitely nonsensical to the average person but in her defence she's still a young adult and this isn't too big of a mistake so she can still learn from it and improve.
