I think Jaemin does like Taeyoon but his feelings of love have become so warped since he's been obsessing over Taeyoon for so long that he no longer truly understands himself or what he's feeling, but all he does know is that Taeyoon has to stay by his side. Which, that level of possessiveness obviously stems from loving Taeyoon but being unwilling to admit it since those feelings got him so hurt in the past before (also Taeyoon never confessed). Not justifying Jaemin's actions btw but it places us at an interesting point for s2 to jump off of if we're going to be getting into the nitty gritty of his psychology and how it affects their dynamic moving forward

Aaaa this chapter was so interesting (also hot) kind of love how the beta is losing his sense of self as he becomes obsessed with the idea of becoming an alpha and wanting Yuri to become his omega that clearly goes beyond a kink/fetish thing now. I think there's definitely something rooted in gender expression here for Yuri that reminds me of the Trans experience but also for the beta, it feels a bit like he's got an inferiority complex about being a poor average beta, and with Yuri, he gets to be something more than that. I'm really loving the story in that regard and I hope this author can deliver on these themes in an interesting way
