At first I liked her idea that she wants to know the duke's real feelings and that he won't hesitate to show his love for her. But right now I'm in the process of disliking Adele. I understand that she wants his unconditional love but at this point it feels like she is being petty, and just wants everyone to envy the duke's love for her... I really love Adele, but I feel like this part is really unnecessary. Don't hate on me it's just my opinion, even if they didn't include this part of the story it wouldn't have changed that it was an amazing story, this arc feels pointless with the way it's proceeding to be honest...

It's not unnecessary at all, that's the point. She does love him, but she knows they need to make it clear that HE loves HER to get rid of all the rumors and any potential future issues that would be fueled by the rumors, like ladies thinking he doesn't love her and trying to become his mistress. If it's a well documented, established fact that the DUKE fell in love with and proposed to HER, that can be used to refute any scandal rumors in the future. The Saint's rumors were so devastating BECAUSE the Duke was known to not be attached to anyone and suddenly there were rumors of the saint coming out of this stoic guy's bedroom naked. If he'd been with Adele romantically at the time he could've just denied them and said he loves his wife and she could've supported him in denying he had an affair. That's the goal for the future
I agree to you. Why are these dramas necessary? Because after all that happened, especially the duke hesitating to answer her properly, the assurance of a happy life after wedding will be given strength by all these dramas and efforts. Maybe the drama is necessary but i don't know why i am not liking how they are proceeding with the plot. like i said i liked the idea at first but with the way its going i feel like its lackluster... maybe its because i am expecting a lot from this manga? But maybe in the upcoming chapters it will surprise me though..
