your point would make sense if she was in a normal story with a guy who wasnt already depicted as gay, then he wouldve liked her boy appearence and it would make sense and he wouldve been pan or bi if he still liked her when she revealed she was a girl. im talking about the authors intentions, the character could obviously be demi or bi or pan but THE AUTHOR clearly had the specific intentions of writing a story about a gay man falling in love with a crossdressing woman

I still don’t get it. Since he fell in love with a cross dressing woman he could’ve not been gay that’s all there is. There are many stories like this and one in particular where this guy liked girls but fell in love with a cross dressing boy. So he clearly discovered something about himself. It would be cool if there was a story about a someone falling for a gender they didn’t like when that person was cross dressing and after they found out that person was cross dressing they instantly get confused. Like they are in love with them but they can’t see them doing anything sexual. That would be interesting.

I believe I have said that I didn’t get what you meant. So I of course read it, but didn’t understand it. Also I haven’t read the story and I’m not planning to either. However, if they didn’t explicitly say he was gay then that’s your interpretation that he was gay. I don’t get how “characters aren’t real people” and “written by real people who could be bad people” relate to the conversation though.

it related to the conversation because it contributes to my point. it doesn't explicitly say that he's gay obviously but it is intended by the author for you to think that. what I'm trying to get you to understand is that the author enjoys sexualizing gay men, this is why the character himself was made to be seen and perceived as gay, and to fall in love with a woman. because the author doesn't value gay men as what they are and has the fantasy of a gay man falling in love with a woman, which is why the male character came from a boys love and the female character was crossdressing a man. i bring up the point that the characters are not real people because the author is the one who is writing them with screwed intentions. the author is NOT a gay man, nor could the author know what a gay man is attracted to or feels. the author purposefully has the ML fall in love with a crossdressing character because it traps him into falling in love with a woman!!!!!!! that simple
