Okay, so it's a good story. With beautiful art. Beautiful character designs, and good plotline. It's a toxic Seme, yes, but I love how the Uke is not someone who'd take it all without giving a fight. It's almost as if I'm reading another story on Roses and Champagne. Many people kept putting this and that story together and I thought it as just because the Semes come from the same country, but it's also because of the story.
Let me make it clear though, I hate the rape. I always do. The Seme's background does not justify him treating the Uke, or anyone else, like this. And the cliffhanger really hit me bad.
So, I read the novel. And it was PHE-NO-ME-NAL!
I'm so looking forward to the part where the Uke hit back and the Seme fell for him (without him knowing exactly what it is) and then the Uke running away again then slowly falling for this psycho.
Anyways, it was a rollercoaster of a ride and I'm looking forward to the manhwa adaptation on that part. Still, not cool on the rape. But at this point, we can't do anything about it no more.

I think you oughta start at the second half of the Volume 2 if you want to proceed to season 2.
It would've been decent had they focused on the story and character development and not the smex scenes. There wasn't much development in their characters at all!
The only reason I stayed is because I hoped for some character development. I wanted to see them grow up and mature, because apparently the've got a lot to work on. But I barely saw anything as the story progressed.
I basically tortured myself for nothing here. *Sigh
They're horny bastards. They're both so horny that they're basically humping on each other in every episode. I wanted a more in
depth story, not some pornographic sh*t show that shrugs off the issues that really matter.
They didn't delve much into what happened with the r*ping professor. Not much into the bullying colleague either. Even the situation between the Uke's mom and their relationship, they were all just swept under the rug.
I also hated the fact that every time they were dealing with something, they just have sex. Like, do you really have time to think about your crotch when you should really be thinking of solutions to your problems??!! I really hated that.
Also, the Seme is just a spoiled brat who keeps getting his way. He gets hit by his dad to discipline him but the lessons just don't enter his noggin. He keeps swinging his fists and acts on impulse. He keeps assuming things and then involves people who didn't do anything, then gets away with it. He's basically a d*mn thug.
Man, I don't know what your problem is, but you better stop thinking with your fists and crotch and start thinking with that thing in your head!
The Uke is not any better too. I mean, I get that he was r*ped and that is very hard to go through, but please be smart about your actions. The reason he was in that mess in the first place is because he was too ignorant to figure out what was happening around him.
I mean, even if I looked up on someone, who is my professor too, I would've drawn a line with going to his house and having a drink with him. Granted, the Uke's a guy, but there's no harm in being too careful. Plus, you barely know this man (the prof). Don't be too ignorant and follow a stranger's house that easily. Even kids these days know better.
I didn't like what he did afterwards too. Lying to his boyfriend and all that. It's harsh, but it's not healthy to let yourself be used by your professor and hide it from your boyfriend. It's an overused NTR trope and it's not funny.
I didn't like the money situation here either. Seme keeps wasting money like water and the Uke just accepts it. He's not a golddigger, but a normal person would've been concerned about it and stopped him from using his money on me, like a sugar daddy. How ironic because the title says, "Not a sugar daddy". Well, you're not acting like it!
The plot was boring, the storyline was not interesting, the art was common but decent, and the smex scenes weren't fun for me, honestly. I got tired of them f*cking like rabbits that I skipped all them. For real, I'm not kidding.
It wasn't fun because I was the worrying about their problems, stressing like it was my own. Well, at least someone was, unlike these two
And they say us Yaoi readers have a fetish, but maybe they don’t know we read yaoi because most yaoi genre has the most beautiful art style and good storyline. Me reading your comment just made me so happy, because not all of us is here for the pxrn. I’m genuinely are so invested in the storyline to the point I want them to have some character development because the ML is very immature and I wish he would become better for the sake of both of them.
One of the comments said that the Uke's face creeps them out. Immediately, I was like, "Yeah, I know right!?" It wasn't just me, apparently.
Anyway, I think the story was too rushed. The smex scenes weren't that sexy because the Uke's face is too lewd. There's "lewd", and there's such a thing as "too much", you know? It's not fun anymore.
Don't get me wrong, the art was lovely, the concept as well as the setting was fabulous. I just didn't like the characters.
Who the hell manipulates someone to watch his beloved being assaulted (don't know because the Uke really loved it) in front of them!? That was basically torture! And perverted. Urgh. How the hell did the Uke fall for such a prick. People's hero they say, everyone loves the king
It had too much potential for it to end like this. Also, there were a lot of things that were left out, like the Uke's source of trauma, the Seme's background, and even the arc where the Uke started to stand up on his own in the mercenary.
Seriously, it was too short and too rushed that it lost a lot of its charm. I really liked the concept too. Common and simple, yet still good.
The art and character designs were flawless, especially the smex scenes. They were scrumptious . The story could've been good had it been longer and deeper. Urghhh. I'm sick of these short stories now
Both the seme and uke are driving me crazy, crazy in the bad way. They're both foolish and they both keep assuming what the other one thinks without taking their feelings into consideration. Which is why they get in trouble.
The concept is good, just that everything else is a mess. Didn't make sense much, and the art is freakishly weird. The kids look like adults to be honest, they look nothing like children.
Anyways, sorry. Not my type and certainly not worth my time. I'm out buhbye.

Too short to fall for it.
