it's been FOREVER since i read the original story, so i could be mistaken, but i think this is referencing the fact that the main story ended with jooha and dooshik both dying. it was winter and while chasing a cat or something, some ice broke beneath them and they both presumably drowned.
so i think we're getting closer to when that happens :(

OK, so I came here from TikTok and I’m all around chapter 51. Currently I just need to know like what’s the story like is it good? Can someone give me a small spoiler because as of now I’m just sad by each chapter about the lack of empathy, each character has.

The queens story is still very sad, I for one like how complex the story is and how it’s still continuously pulling me in despite it already being 100+ chapters. I can’t stand when stories lose track of the original plot and seem to go nowhere or lack common sense but this one is doing pretty okay. Also if you were mislead to believe they raped the queen to make her have the concubines baby that is not true they used magic (not that it makes it okay). As much as I want justice for the queen idk if it’s given but the rest of the story is still pretty enthralling and we just got a big cliff hanger this last chapter

I agree. This is one of the rare story where I still remember what the plot is no matter where I left off, precisely because we spend so much time with each character. There's a bunch of other stories that are more exciting but every time they update, I can't remember which plot is what series, who the characters are ( ̄∇ ̄")... it all blended into one.
I remember the author of killing stalking listening to calm music with no lyrics when writing her books, I wonder what the author of this listens too maybe
Nasty dog
