It’s cute either way but the pacing gave me flashbacks of my Wattpad days
I feel like in a lot of stories being gay always has friends turning on friends or parents hating their child. It is very nice being able to see how their friends, family, as well as strangers do not care about their sexual orientation. Well there are plenty of haters in the world, I also know there are plenty more who literally could not care less. Also just the fact that they are showing their relationship to the world is so nice. A lot of the time they will just hide their relationship and never tackle even telling friends or family, and I always wonder what will happen after and if they don’t feel a burden by being a secret.
He has obvious trauma with his mom, and it’s so wrong to not even have discussed the fact of potentially meeting his mom. Talking is always essential because maybe he didn’t want to ever see his mom again. It is not something you would know without discussing. Doing it once is already crazy but TWICE?!? It takes time to walk down the path of healing and he should’ve been given the option of walking down this path at his own pace.
