I read the novel as well and trust me you will become more annoyed as the story progressed. The FL is literally a damsel in distress that was used to progress the plot..
I got so annoyed that I stop reading it halfway but I've spend a week bulldozing through all those chapters..and I think wasted my time reading it.. (and it doesn't help that the author wrote it through characters' POV and sometime there are too much repetition of the same scene) I dunno why I keep reading it, maybe because I have high hopes from the scene where Arthur rejects some girl advances and stating that they're all too young for him.. and in the end he still dates that elf girl..and she kinda becomes a liability to him all the way..till the end of the novel as well..(I just read the spoilers for the ending since I'm so annoyed but I need to know the ending..lolz) should have just read the spoilers first before I started reading the novel though..would have save a week of my time..
It's a shame though, it starts off really strong and interesting but becomes more boring and complicated (in a bad way) the longer it goes..so disappointed since I like the art as well.. sigh..yeah..sorry for rambling (づ￣ ³￣)づ
