This story is a very very slow burn one, perhaps even a bl masterpiece. tho its season 3 its still only the first book in the novel so they still haven't fallen hard for each other (yet). the story has yet to reach its climaxes. there are two more books. they both realizes their feelings

no disrespect to the artist, the art is very beautiful indeed but it just doesn't suit a story like TCF where there are dark themes as well, even many character designs doesn't match how its described in the novel
in the novel when cale uses the dominating aura, it is described that whoever it was directed at couldn't even breath, suffocates and can't even dare to look cale in the eye.
whenever i read the novel i imagined it to be something like that one scene in HunterxHunter where Gon and Killua couldn't get past the corridor bc they were overwhelmed and repressed by Hisoka's aura lol
but in the manhwa only a small crown appears on cale's head doesn't illustrate what it does to his opps
and after season 1 the art only became more cutesy, like i can't imagine how the war scenes with the SPOILER******* Indomitable Alliance and Wyverns are gonna look like with this cute artstyle
