I've read a lot of fucked up stuff... But i don't think I've ever been this unsettles and disgusted by any of these tropes, irrespective of how violent they were.
Something about this premise and these characters is just horrifying. Dropping this.
The author really is going all out to cater to all body types and pairings- not to mention how genuinely sexy it is to see Woong ask for consent.
I think this story in particular is resonating a lot with fans who don't usually read hetero sex much, and it's a good feeling. (▰˘◡˘▰)
If we're going to get realistic, I don't think Akutagawa and Atsushi could ever have a healthy relationship on equal terms. Non-con aside, I think this might actually be as close to canon potrayal of their characterizations
I just want poly ships to be represented, and this was literally one of the most perfect settings for it. Character-wise I do realise that Itta/Fuuka/Riri may not have worked out, but I can dream right? ;-;
