The miscommunication is so well done in this story, best slow burn so far. Also I really love how rounded and quirky each other character in the main cast is!!! Love Isabel sm
i would say the opposite. the miscommunication is terrible and he doesn’t want to listen for the life of him
@leoi I disagree, if all books had good communication then it would have less emotion and be boring. As much as I hate it we need miscommunication. I also feel like the characters are also dealing with the miscommunication pretty well which makes the story even more enjoyable.
miscommunication is good when it’s made natural and it’s resolved in a healthy way. this story inserts it whenever there’s an opportunity. im also not a fan of angst so this story sadly just isn’t for me

So they changed the initial script reading schedule last minute and the MC could not make it because he was currently working on another project. Homegirl goes to script reading that she did not want to attend and gets in a tif when she sees our MC is not there. She is like "Who does he think he is?" She is like if I have to be here, so should he. She makes assumtpions about the MC being arrogant and not valuing other people's time.
But she is the arrogant one. Like she has no chill.

I also think I remember it’s the adult male lead that changed the dates for the script reading in the first place. Our mc originally had time to go, but the male lead didn’t, the date was changed for him, making it so our Mc couldn’t make it
So she’s outwardly hateful for a reason that isn’t even our mcs fault
And I also don’t think the male adult lead’s innocent either
