Libertia has twin sister Lilian (oc no one know about this, cause no one cared for Libertia mother). They both have been experimented by her maternal uncle, but the little sister is too weak so she died young. When she is died like in the novel, Libertia turn back the time then save Lilian by sending her to another dimension to live as the Korean girl, she magic boxed her past life into a novel as a way to communicate with the little sister, and when Lilian died in Korea, Libertia transmigrated Lilian to her own body.
The CP hired Daniel to assassinated Libertia but when Daniel about to kill her, the CP see Libertia laughing from a far so he give signal to Daniel to cancel it for now, and he became curious about Libertia so he decide to delay the assassination. He started to get close to Libertia, and she told him she has no interest with the throne, she make a deal with CP not to kill her by teaching him how to woo-ed Ariel.

Well I wouldn't say the CP has done nothing wrong, he tried to kill Libertia because he was afraid she would steal his throne, just like he is afraid that other ML would steal Ariel so he get rid of all them, he is a psycho. Just because the present Libertia is sweet and all smile just like Ariel, he became interested in her. Like Melissa from 'Beware of the villainness' said People who discriminate against other is not a good person. Though he is change for the better, doesn't erase what he is done to the original Libertia in the first timeline, Libertia has been hated and treated like villain even when she is done nothing, that's why in her final moments she harassed Ariel who is loved by everyone since no matter what, she would always became the bad person anyway. Lilian didn't resent the CP or the Emperor, but for her, her only family is Libertia, so she is like 'I don't hate them but I don't love them either' kinda thing.
