I dont think he will kill her family.. you see that her father revealed his demon side so it’s possible that demon took over his body to kill that boy’s family. Maybe that’s why her father feel guilty and took him in. And this story changed than the “novel” storyline.

I am 100% sure it was the demon side that took over. It was also confirmed already by all the internal monologues the her dad had

lol she's not training him but it the fact she allows him to train to become strong to eventually kill her familly and friends its the fact she still alows him to serch for a way out when he's going to leave to plot his revenge its always been one of her bigest chacter flaws i cant get over

Maybe she thought she can change male lead to be better person, not taking revenge against her family. Maybe her family already knows that male lead is planning about it since he admitted that he secretly learned how to escape in the cave.
