Ah I never knew why she bothered me. It's definitely this! Although I didn't hate her as much as other readers, I couldn't bring myself to like her either. MC danced a fine line between life and death while Jennette expected to just be given love. And in the og timeline, it really was handed to her on a silver platter. They were both equally good girls. The injustice is real!

I think based on the fact that serval was so intent on showing black lion 'freedom' then realises that the outside world is scary and not safe and that ultimately it doesn't matter where they are as long as they're together, that I felt like he'd go back with black lion. I'm also sure serval realised the outside world wouldn't be safe for black lion at all, and I don't think he'd insist on leaving anymore because that would mean black lion would be in danger.
