I remember reading this more than a decade ago and I still get the same feeling I got reading it - rage. You could easily find the a similar form of corruption or miscarriage of justice happening in any country outside Japan.
This manga perfectly encapsulates the helplessness I feel when I see my own country being plundered and ruined by politicians who feel it an opportunity to wrap themselves in wealth that isn't theirs to keep. Instead when things go south, the people are blamed for trusting them and bear the consequences through generations.











I was about to cry 'sweet home Alabama' until I found out they weren't biologically related. Gonna save my pitchfork for another day.
