also his temperament may be caused by the mother since long ago... so he is mean because his mother planted the seed. if she is using this way now, she probably used it before. then skyler hate makes sense right? he is a kid and still so much hate inside him, so i was always impressed, is he not right in the head? but now... golden boy did a few things here and there that cannot be really mean, but the way the mother says it creates a seed of malice inside skyler and that explain everything. she may even broke the friendship consciously because she saw they getting too close, but didn't want to break it all since golden boy is such a good tool to use.

Skyler was already learning to place the blame on Yeonduk (and feeling happy/getting benefits by doing so) since he was like 5 or 6 . Look back at the knee booboo incident. He blamed Yeonduk for his own accident, got a benefit, and then smirked about it. He was a nasty kid from the get-go.

.... that too right.... you are right, i forgot that. he is not clean! so they are so similar in a way :(. they are really mom and son... crazy pair. but that explain how he was using him to be able to party, right? but even if he uses him, his anger shouldn't be that much. remember how some comments were talking about how much golden boy was ratting on his friend? he may not have really done that much and her mother was the one manipulating them. so while him taking photos and acting like a 'friend' to be able to go with his other friends derives from his 'too smart will use you' personality trait, his hate derives from his mother plating the seed of anger inside him by exaggerating what his friend would say or do like golden boy is some malicious boy, but he is not really, we can see how naive and pure he was and still is since he can't really understand it all or what he wants or how to get all the pain away.
what a train of thought lol... good friends -> skyler uses him -> mom don't like -> mom breaks friendship -> skyler still uses him -> mom break it even more = mom is being shit and drinking all day, skyler is angered to almost a point of exploding and golden boy is in pain to a point of almost dying.

i see that way because i was really not digging the way skyler was naturally malicious towards his friend for him being a rat, but his friend being so pure. the contrast didn't really click in my mind. whatever golden boy did should not equal to the amount of hate he has, at least with the way my mind simulates the situation. so adding the mom exaggerating everything so she can anger skyler completes the equation. it feels more real the reasons why skyler is such a asshole and hateful against the friend he used so much rather than being satisfied by having a tool to use like his mother acts. in the end it still not makes sense for the ship to sail tho, he is still a shitty person and his mother is even worst... golden boy having to deal with both of them... he will end up killing himself. Dx i really wonder if they will end up together tho. even if the hate can be explained, he still acted like that rather than simply cutting the relationship, like golden is some thing he can step on and also used him like he is some tool.

I think they are fated to end up together given how the story is set up "My Starry Sky" and all. But I need some incredible character arc for Skyler to allow him to have our little sweetbun. He doesn't even realize how much like his bitch-mom he is: user, manipulator, standing by and watching the pain of a "friend" and enjoying it. He needs to "undo" the mother part of himself, Skyler does.

Yep. He thinks he's a saint and Yeonduk is evil. He's a piece of shit, Skyler. But he'll learn....
