Although I'm sure hatano could get any other love interest in the manga, he's actively chosen to keep loving the Mc, even as an unrequited love. To me, this has such a sweet potential to make the Mc see the world of BL with another perspective. But I completely understand all other opinions in this regard and respect everyone!!!!!
