Hmm, I really started pondering about this curse or whatnot, I wonder how deep the feelings need to be for the curse to take effect. Eunwoo seems to have had(or still has) a crush on Han Taeho so feelings of that level won't trigger it, but how deep must he fall before he turns into pearls? But I must say, Han Taeho really does like to hit Eunwoo where it hurts, saying things about his curse and life that he knows that Eunwoo is troubled by. I dunno if he does that to hide his feelimgs or if he's just being a jerk or if he has another motive(perhaps to keep Eunwoo from falling for him??)
Also, reeeeeeally hoping we'll see a mermaid version of Eunwoo at some point, I wanna seeeee~ ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Is this vore? Since it's, ya know, a praying mantis(anyone who knows anything about praying mantises will catch my drift) >_>

I don’t think it’s vore? vore is “sexual swallowing” or somethin right? If you’re talking mantis mating, considering the females often eat the males, it still wouldn’t be vore. The female isn’t getting off by eating the male, and the male isn’t getting off from his head being ripped off and his body slowly eaten.
It’s not a kink, it’s natural selection.
(๑•ㅂ•)و✧ but i see your point!

Okay, just finished reading this whole thing, and I have thoughts.
First of all, I really enjoy this webtoon. I think it's entertaining and the idea is interesting, and I enjoy the characters and most interactions. I'm looking forward to more, and where the story and lore will go.
My problem is with the overall plot. I personally think the romance aspect could've been left aside, or even out of the story completely. Just the political side of the plot is more than enough to keep me interested, and in fact I think the romance actually interferes with it. I remember being super excited to see how Sanghee would change the society and how she would go about it, I wanted to see what kind of world this was and how the people lived. But that...didn't really happen. They throw few sentences and country names here and there but almost nothing is explained. The worldbuilding is sadly pretty minimal and I find that regrettable, and only in the latest chapter we started finding out anything about the history of this world. But it's bit too little too late.
Also, I think Sanghee could afford to be bit more assertive and aggressive, I think she has a bit of a damsel in distress syndrome(for a good reason and I don't really hate it, honestly I mostly like it when she gets saved, I like protectiveness and such when done in reasonable amounts). I do think the way she approaches her situation is smart, she realizes she needs to be careful and hides her true colours, but I do think she could gradually and carefully start to be slightly braver, she is in a position to do so. She won't get anywhere if she just keeps playing a nice and submissive girl, I think the society's views have infected her a bit after living in it for 16 years. She is thinking too little of herself because she's a woman. But it looks like that is starting to change in the story currently, and I'm looking forward to a day when she can actually verbally stand up to herself.
Lastly, a personal rant, Chris is shady af, pisses me off, I don't like him at all XD

I've been reading way too many Korean webtoons lately. I feel like every single one of them uses the "A gets drunk(and possibly passes out) so B takes care of them and hijinks ensue", and 75% of the time it ends in sex XD Well, tbh every single BL uses that trope at least once, easy romancing opportunities
Well, ummm...surpriiiiise~? ( ̄∇ ̄")
