I read this after I read Survive as the Hero’s Wife which was basically the same trope(isekai’d into the novel they were reading) and honestly I have to say that this whole plot is completely lacking. The character development is trash. The characters personalities themselves are lacking a lot and it’s really annoying. Alejandro is basically the only reason why I still decided to keep reading. Ibelina is just too dense of a character for someone who knows what’s relatively going to happen. She knows her decisions have been changing the original plot line and yet she still just sits back and watches things happen. All she does is worry about what’s gonna happen in the future and then makes no initiative to try and change anything. And don’t even get me started on the whole annoying “I’m a mere maid” thing she keeps going on about. I don’t know but her whole personality kinda gets on my nerves. This story had so much potential but the way it was executed and the way it’s still going now, it’s kinda hard to keep reading. This is just what I think. I probably won’t be reading it anymore after this anyway but I just thought I’d share my opinion and see if anyone else feels the same way.

Why can’t we ever just have a nice, loving, caring, not-raping-people, cute/hot, considerate seme? That’s it. Why do they make them complete assholes and rapists and then give them a terrible past or a redemption arc to make up/justify for things? Yahwi probably has some sad past or something and that’s probably gonna “justify” the way he’s been acting and everything he’s done. Like no. They can have a sad past and not be rapist asshole trash
Try reading ‘Cherry Blossoms After Winter’ so you can have the seme you want. Oh, and I do agree but I think to make a truly deep story bad things happen and wether people want to acknowledge it or not real adults and high schoolers really do act like that. They do rape, their mean and ugly and not considerate. So they add such things to add a human touch to the story’s. Ah! And this is just my opinion.

I don't really agree with walk on water being among healthy ones. It wasn't at first but well they moved past that. I was eating my fingers when they broke up
I don’t mean to come off in a wrong way. I knew what I was getting into when I read first few chapters and saw the author. I guess i over generalized but I know that there are nice semes. I’ve read a bunch of those and loved them!! It’s just that THESE types of semes are more common. Usually when I read a manga/manhwa with THESE semes, they do act like assholes or just act coldly but it’s usually paired with some sort of hint that they’re not completely bad person. And so we can’t completely hate the character and even end up loving the character later on. But it’s just that in this mnhwa, everytime I think Yahwi can’t get any worse, he does. They don’t really give Yahwi any good moments/points for us to like him for. I hate how this story has been written but I can’t stop reading it either because of my curiosity. It’s like a giant dumpster fire. It’s terrible but I can’t look away. I’m just hoping it gets a WHOLE lot better because honestly this has a lot of potential.
I don’t mind having semes like this because you’re right. It does add a human touch to the story because not everything is sunshine and rainbows in life. I get that and usually I’m okay with it because they make up for it. But they don’t make Yahwi seem human. They make him seem like a cold, rude, jerk whose completely indifferent to everything. I wish we could see some of his soft side or just anything that would make him seem like less of an asshole. I’m just....I guess you could say I’m just upset with the lack of reason for Yahwi’s characterization and how from the beginning up until now they only made us hate him. They literally gave him no good points other than his face. And just in general a ton of mangas have this recurring theme of semes treating their lover wrong and giving us a bogus reason for it. I just feel like this might be one of those types of manhwa. I don’t know if making any sense. I think I’m rambling at this point

Exactly!! There’s not really any chemistry for me either!! And people are forgetting that he literally raped the guy. Yahwi basically knows jooin likes him and he takes advantage of that. I swear I could rant a whole essay on this
Okay okay hear me out.....what if Cain was jooin’s dog or something in his past life. And that’s why he calls him master and follows him around all the time. And I think he even said in one of the chapters he was used to sleeping on the floor soooooooooooo idk but it kinda adds up in my head ╮(￣▽￣)╭
