Once in a while I found story like this, I really hate the ML for manipulating things (the auction) and somehow the the Gaia (trash) system also favoring him. MC deserve better really.

Honestly, I love this story, and, yes, I've read the novel. I like that both the mc and ml are op, and the mc doesn't have to rely on the ml. Imo Jihan is a green flag.


It's true that he is "favored" by the Gaia system, but that's mainly because he is a Chosen One just like the mc. Since he is a Chosen One, he is a good and just person by nature. Idk why the other person mentioned it when saying Jihan is trash, but it doesn't really do much except give him op skills.
The reason everyone is looking for Seo Chaeyoon is because the Great Dungeon is reappearing, but when the ml sees how traumatized the mc is, he says that he doesn't want to take him in the dungeon which is pretty out of character for him considering his beliefs about strong people. There are more things I could mention, but this is already pretty long.
I don't know how they'll present the romance in the manhwa, but I don't think it ever took away from the story in the novel. Out of all the mls in bl, idk why someone would focus on Jihan and say he's toxic, but everyone can have their own opinions. If you don't like the story, don't read it. It's simple.
