Those are just acts of kindness, they don’t necessarily have to be between siblings. Things like childhood friends, a friends younger sibling, or just a little kid you’re close with in general could do those things. I don’t know how many times i have typed this but Anisa does not see him remotely close as a brother. Yea they’ve gotten closer in these recent chapters, but she still, even now, sees him as someone that will murder her if she doesn’t change him in the future. No where there does that include romance or dating. And this is also a wild guess, but I think there might be a time in the future where claude/athy/jennette will be put in danger, then Anastacius will save them causing him his own life and thinking that it will be the payment for his sins or that the least thing he could do as Claude's brother.
