The reason why they hate Jeanette is because some of the people who have read the novel or the manga before know what she really is like, and also from the beginning to here there two t'hi gs I dislike from her
1. Her being overly naive and too trusting
2. In the past live she could have safe the FL but she didn't, she had her "father's" love and could have save the FL yet she didn't, which makes me think that Jeanette isn't what she is trying to portray :)

Thank you for your reply! I get where you’re coming from, but right now they need to understand that this isn’t the novel, it’s the manwha. Spoon isn’t exactly following the EXACT events from the manwha. Like ofc many things will be added and left out. I understand how people don’t like her naiveness, but i just wish they would look at it from her point of view and see why she is naive like that. At the same time i haven’t read the novel but i feel like it doesn’t matter because this, again, isn’t the novel but it’s the manwha. I also feel like since in so many different manwhas we see the nice girl type always ending up as a villain, but i cant see that with Jeanette at all. We all have our different opinions and i respect that whole heartedly, but when people start calling her disgusting names and saying she should die is way out of my respect range. Most of this fandom is toxic so i try to stay away from it, but i know not everyone is like that lolol. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I left this out accidentally, but i feel like when Athy got executed in her past life, there isn’t much info other than how Athy was framed and when she got executed Jeanette was sad, so honestly i cant really speak on that. Maybe there was something bigger but we cant really know if it doesn’t show lolol

It simple - she is a filler character, she didn't change, she didn't grow, she gives nothing to the plot other than filler and her being naive and think like 3 years child is annoying despite she should be like 15!!! let's just admit at this point she is a filler character, useless and annoying.

She IS a side/filler character, but it’s not like she won’t get character development. That’s why i understand how people can get frustrated with her bc she’s very naive. Sometimes even i get a little annoyed, but it’s not like i’ll go and say all these horrible things abt her. Athy acts mature why? Because in her past like she was an adult, so of course she’s going to be a lot
more mature and think like an adult. Jeanette acts like a child why? She was always very sheltered since young, and really her only communication was Mr.whitey and Ijekiel. Ijekiel also left to Artlanta when they were younger, so one of her very few people she could communicate with left as well. Up until the debutante, she never really had people to talk to or really had a way to mature. That’s why i don’t get horrifically mad at Jeanette or too annoyed since she also went through bad things too. All she really wanted was to help if you also think about it. People ofc can dislike her obviously i’m not saying they shouldn’t, BUT i’m only saying that they take it way too far when it comes to Jeanette. They really turn disgusting.

if she didn't get ANY get character development or change or act like her age until now, I think it's about time to just give up. she is a filler character, she will never change and in time she will be gone from the story and won't give anything to the plot.
she had so many chances to change or to give something to the plot, but the author chooses not to use it. there is nothing to like about her cause she is mostly nothing, filler, boring and annoying.
I saw a lot of hate for characters, so I don't really bother to read it anymore. let people vent what they feel, it's okay. there is nothing wrong with it as long they know the difference between reality and fiction, and I'm sure most of them do know the difference. I don't really care ╮(￣▽￣)╭

You’re right lolol. I mostly honestly ignore the hate for all characters, but sometimes it just gets to the point where i cant even ignore it. Some of these ppl act like these characters will read their hate comment and be like “damn you’re right i should be more mature lemme act it real quick” Like there’s many reasons as to why ALL the characters act the way they do. I love Jeanette and i do agree she is naive, but whether she gets development or not (i assume she would after the latest chapter), its not the main issue, nor will it affect the main problems in the manwha

yeas I get they can get heated sometimes, people love to complain a lot so ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I do answer to some of them that bring fair points about her, there are people like them in the comments and also I talk with those that blind lovers of her character and hate on those who do not agree with them, I talk with them too. so hmm there are many from both sides.
but here the thing about people in this story and the anger, stealing screen time on filler moments that do not give anything to the plot is one thing but making the main character to be sorry for something they should not be is something else.
it is a problem, even if (I say if cause I doubt we ever get it) she gets any kind of development in any shape or form, it won't matter cause it's too late. if it happens before the whole thing with her "father" and she would act like her age that would be something else but the fact is she didn't.
she didn't do anything, she didn't give anything, she didn't change, she just there to feel sorry for herself - that what she is doing from the very start we saw her until today, and it is a problem with her character and the writing.
