His past is messed up so it makes sense though, will probably find out what happened to his village. Maybe, either that or offscreen battle hype like everyone expects.
Or maybe even better, it'll hint something interesting in the Sinbad story that we'll find out more clearly in that series.
It was a little messed up (personally I would not forgive the friend if I was in her shoes) but the story overall was really touching. I like how they were all connected in the end.
