First, the translation is too bad that I couldn’t understand some of the conversation. Though it gives a little hint because of the words used but still it confused me.
Second, I don’t get why the FL is so annoying. If she’s afraid of that person, then why not stay with the ML and be secured.
Third, I hate the toxicity of the relationship. I just don’t like it.

Not that really interested in Manhua because they always have this “Toxic” trait of the ML, or FL, sometimes the story is too predictable. I don’t hate it, but I am not just into it.

I’m a Villianious Daughter, so I’m going to keep the Last Boss (pretty sure that’s not how you spell villainess, but that’s how it is on mangago. Also is the only manga on this list, the rest are manwhas)
Now those are my all-time favorites.
Other stories (manwhas) that aren’t exactly similar to this but are still super good are
College Student Empress (based in ancient China/Korea instead of an European setting. The ML (?) is an ass hat but GIRL POWER BRAH, also the MC knows he’s an ass and likes messing with him.
I’ve Become the Villianious Empress of a Novel (the love story isn’t exactly the focus of the storyline right now, BUT EXTREME GIRL POWER. Also the person who is probably the ML is really sweet.)
Please Throw Me Away (the heroine has to go through a lot of upsetting abuse, but the ML she is going to end up with is super amazing and respectful. She just isn’t with him in a romantic way yet.)
The Justice of a Villianious Woman (strong MC and great ML, just the politics intrigue in the story is amped up 100% more than in this story. Also is a suuuuupppeeerrrr slow burn, but is worth the wait.)
Beware of the Villainess! (All about girl power and putting abusive and creepy men back in their place! Super funny too! Just the romance hasn’t started yet with the MC. The ML I want her to be with is SO SWEET AND ADORABLE!)

TRUST ME, I have read plenty of manwhas that were super toxic but the ones I have listed as my favorites are 100% not that.

Also for the predictable aspect, they might be predictable as in, I think they are going to have a happy ending. But the storyline that gets them to that happy ending are super interesting. Of course, that’s just how I feel about them, you could feel totally different! (Sorry for all the replies, I just super love the stories I’ve listed as my all time favs. )

But the toxic stories I hate are where abusive traits are seen as romantic or the ML is abusive, but the MC just keeps hoping they will change.
I see the Emperor as super toxic, but unlike a lot of other stories the Empress knows he’s like that and isn’t expecting anything else out of him.
Honestly, I’m just there for the storyline and the Empress’ and Lady Lyn’s friendship.
